Dr. Alicia Finch

Optometrist

Dr. Finch was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK, completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Saskatchewan. She then moved to Chicago to attend Illinois College of Optometry, graduating in 2012 with her Doctor of Optometry.

During Dr. Finch’s studies, she worked at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, the University of Kentucky Eye Clinic, the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, and the Illinois Eye Institute. This gave her a chance to travel around the US and learn a wide variety of practices. The majority of her time as an intern was spent focusing on ocular disease, emergency eye care, and pediatrics.

Dr. Finch practised for one year in the Chicago suburbs before happily returning to Saskatchewan in 2013. She joined the Vista Eyecare family in 2015.

In her free time, Dr. Finch and her husband Kevin enjoy travelling, taking their dog Charlie to the lake, and relaxing at home. Dr. Finch also loves crafting as well as designing and making fun costumes for any event possible, including her annual Ugly Sweater Christmas Party!
